The Prosecutor General’s Office announced the detention of four people. Upon the incident, a criminal case was opened under article 97 through article 25 of the Criminal Code \u2014 attempted premeditated murder.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. on October 26, when Allamzhonov was moving home. Two unidentified men fired a number of shots at a Range Rover car driven by the ex-official’s driver. The local newspaper «Gazeta.uz» was able to confirm with the Prosecutor General’s Office the presence of Komil Allazhonov in the car.<\/p>\n
According to Yahoo! Finance, 36-year-old Uzbek citizen Javlon Yunusov is involved in the case, to whom Interpol issued a «Red Notice».<\/p>\n
«Interpol issued Yunusov a «red notice» on behalf of Uzbekistan. A red notice is not an arrest warrant, but it allows the country to detain a person pending extradition or extradition,» the newspaper writes.<\/p>\n
